Use it anytime you want to drizzle a little chocolate glaze over...well, anything!
It is especially good on Éclairs.
1 cup confectioner’s sugar
¼ cup cocoa
2 tablespoons butter
1-2 tablespoons milk
½ tsp vanilla extract
Sift or whisk confectioner’s sugar and cocoa1.
Melt butter in a small saucepan, and whisk in sugar/cocoa mix.
Add enough milk to make glaze pourable2.
Remove from heat and add vanilla extract.
Gluten Free Pro Tips
Sifting is not necessary if you're in a hurry, but will help prevent the formation of lumps.
Test by placing some on a spoon and drizzling back into the pan. Glaze will become less pourable as it cools.
